Energy Efficiency Grant(EEG)
Overview
The Energy Efficiency Grant assists businesses in becoming more energy efficient by providing co-funding for investments in energy-saving equipment.
The EEG offers two levels of support: a Base Tier, which funds pre-approved energy-efficient equipment up to a $30,000 limit, and an Advanced Tier, which aids companies in making more substantial investments for enhanced energy efficiency.
Eligibility Criteria
A company is eligible to apply for the EEG (Base) if it meets the following criteria:
- It is a business entity registered and operating in Singapore within the Manufacturing, Food Services, or Retail sectors as specified below:
- Manufacturing companies classified under SSIC codes 10 to 32, including Food Manufacturing.
- Food Services companies with valid Singapore Food Agency (SFA) licenses, classified under SSIC codes 56 or 68104.
- Retail companies classified under SSIC code 47.
- It has a minimum of 30% local shareholding.
- It employs at least one local employee at the firm level.
- It has a Group Annual Sales Turnover of no more than S$500 million.
- The equipment purchased must be used in Singapore.
